THE STORY OF KIRILL SHISHLOV
Kirill Shishlov has always loved sports. But after the birth of a child, he dropped out of an active lifestyle for 3 years. There was not enough time, the stress grew, and with it the excess weight. Everything was changed by one friendly advice, as well as the convenient location of the hall and perseverance on the way to the goal. Workout has become a favorite part of life again, and the extra pounds have disappeared. Kirill told us how, in tandem with a coach, he managed to get rid of 31 extra pounds.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO START EXERCISING?
I put off training for a long time, but friendly advice pushed me to practice. In the summer I rested at sea with a friend. He said that he went through a weight loss program and recommended it to me. I have already tried to lose weight on my own. I ran, walked 10 kilometers, did exercises. But I lacked a coach who would support and control nutrition. There was such a coach in the program. In addition, the hiit works fitness club was located 200 meters from my house. When I returned from the sea, I immediately bought a subscription.
IS THE FIRST WORKOUT DIFFICULT?
On the very first day, my trainer Oleg Gorb and I conducted fitness testing and began a program of group and personal training. The first three weeks were difficult while the body adapted. I had a penguin gait due to the soreness, but I still felt good. I think it’s due to the fact that the training lasted only 45 minutes. When it seemed to me that I could not do more, the lesson was just over. Within a week I saw the result – it took about 5 kilograms. Then I consistently lost 1.5-2 kilograms per week. When you see the result, you don’t want to stop.
WHAT TO EAT TO LOSE WEIGHT?
At first, I sent the trainer pictures of all my meals. Once I photographed 5 quail eggs. In the photo, they looked like chicken. “What are you, where so much! We need to remove it! ”- Oleg immediately sent me a frightened message. I explained to him that this is a photo of quail eggs. We laughed together, but I was pleased with such concern.
I gave up sweets and milk. I started drinking more water. I ate chicken, fish and lots of fresh vegetables. In order not to overeat, it was important not to sit at home by the refrigerator. I tried to go away on business or for a walk with my child.
Eliminated alcohol completely. Beer used to be my favorite drink. I drank it at every meeting with friends and just at home in the evenings I liked to drink a couple of glasses. Recently I drank a little and thought: “How could I love this?” Tastes have changed dramatically.
WHAT RESULTS CAN YOU ACHIEVE IN TRAINING?
Thanks to training and nutrition, I managed to lose 31 kilograms. On the positive side, there is a complete change of wardrobe. I had XXL at first. Then – XL, and now – L. When I came to a meeting with friends with whom I had not seen for several months, they simply did not recognize me. They called me half-Cyril.
Looking at me, my wife, sister, mother, friend and his daughter signed up for training. We already call Oleg our family coach.
Recently, I was returning from a workout, and an elevator broke down in the stairwell. I had a child and a scooter in my hands. And I just went up a few floors, and I myself did not notice how. Before, I would have paused on every floor to catch my breath. This is how training changes how you feel.
HOW NOT TO STOP ON THE WAY TO THE RESULT?
It is important to trust the coach. Oleg kept repeating to me: “The main thing is not to give up.” If you have made a step, it is important to go all the way. If you made a decision, you need to be faithful to him, like a samurai. At first, the body can resist. It is enough to hold out for a small part of the way. And then the results will motivate, and you won’t want to stop. After all, an excuse can always be found, but only you yourself will lose from this. And you can find 45 minutes to train and win.
